Several decades ago Earl Zausmer’s red BMW 540 became legendary in the car audio industry. Many people have said that hearing the car’s audio system completely changed their perception and definition of “sound quality”.

Now owned by long-time enthusiast and autosound professional Mike Michne, the vehicle is being meticulously rebuilt and improved in the same spirit and with largely the same system, as “CarMiZa“, named for collaborative effort.

Along the way, Mike is developing an extremely well-documented technical design-and-build youtube series that details all aspects of the project. This website supports his substantial efforts for all to enjoy the exceptional experience of high-end sound quality.

25 years after initially thrilling the autosound world, she’s back. ABOVE is CarMiZa on 4 Aug 2020 in Maryland, after making several long-distance journeys and delighting many along the way. Within a short while of this photo she was on her way to Arizona where Mike Michne and Earl Zausmer are collaborating for autosound glory.

Anything worth doing, is worth doing greater.
